We’re delighted to offer a choice of three character cottages on a self-catering basis: Castle Cottage for up to six people, Leosavay Cottage and Jetty Cottage, which each sleep up to four. Set in the same stunning landscape, each cottage has a unique charm.

They’ve been finished to the same high standards for a truly comfortable stay, and are the perfect base to explore everything that Harris, Lewis and the other islands in the Outer Hebrides have to offer.

Castle Cottage (sleeps 6)

Sleeps 6: 2 x double rooms, 1 x twin room, 1 x family shower room and 1 x downstairs toilet.

Fridge/freezer, washing machine & tumble drier, microwave, toaster, cooker (oven, grill & hob). WIFI and TV.

Castle Cottage sits beside the beautiful gateway to Amhuinnsuidhe Castle, a few hundred yards from the castle itself. The cottage looks directly out onto Loch Leosavay, with a westerly view towards the hills behind the opposite shore. The clear water of the loch is a stone’s throw away, just beyond the low sea wall, with access to the rocky shoreline.

The cottage is full of character, built of the same stone as Amhuinnsuidhe Castle, with fully refurbished sash windows and a traditional wooden front door.

Jetty Cottage (sleeps 4)

Newly renovated for 2021 season.

Sleeps 4: 1 x double bedroom, 1 x twin bedroom, 1 x family bathroom + 1 x shower room.

Built in fridge/freezer, washing machine & tumble drier, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and hob. WIFI and TV

Jetty Cottage is in an outstanding position, appropriately beside the stone jetty where local boats would unload their goods. The cottage has a commanding southerly aspect, with captivating views across Loch Leosavay towards South Harris. We welcome one well-behaved dog at a charge of £25.00 per week.

Leosavay Cottage (sleeps 5)

Sleeps 5: 1 x King size bedroom, 1 x double bedroom, 1 x single. 1 x family bathroom.

Under counter fridge and freezer, washing machine & tumble drier, microwave, oven & hob, WIFI, and TV.

Leosavay Cottage is to be found yards from the shore of Loch Leosavay, enjoying a south-facing outlook across land and sea towards South Harris. You’ll find the scenery, ever-changing skies and wildlife both bewitching and memorable. We welcome one well-behaved dog at a charge of £25.00 per week.
