Uig Lodge
Uig Lodge was built in 1876 by James Matheson and later given by Lord Leverhulme to his niece as a wedding present. Uig Lodge is a traditional sporting estate set amidst some of the Outer Hebrides’ most breathtaking scenery. Sweeping white-sand beaches, rugged hillsides and crystal-clear waters surround this remote and unspoiled corner of Scotland, where abundant wildlife and a rich sense of history are woven into the landscape.
Uig Lodge offers a truly distinctive Hebridean experience, with exclusive fly fishing across our private river system, red deer stalking opportunities and scenic walks along some of Scotland’s finest white-sand beaches. From golf, surfing and kayaking to wildlife spotting and exploring the island’s wild landscapes, there are countless ways to embrace the outdoors. Golden eagles soar overhead, red deer roam the hillsides, and seabirds fill the skies and shores.
