We are excited to announce that we have three superb newly refurbished self-catering holiday cottages available for rental on the Isle of Harris, Outer Hebrides, Scotland.
Nestled in the quiet community of Amhuinnsuidhe, North Harris, all three beautifully appointed character cottages are situated on the shore of Loch Leosavay, with breathtaking views from many windows.
The surrounding wilderness offers sightings of sea otters and red deer roaming in their natural habitat, making the cottages a perfect base for a wildlife break. North Harris has beautiful turquoise waters, endless white sandy beaches and challenging hillwalking. The range of outdoor activities is astounding, from kayaking and sailing, to rock climbing and mountain biking.
Castle Cottage
Sitting beside the beautiful gateway to Amhuinnsuidhe Castle, Castle Cottage is just a few hundred yards from the castle itself. The cottage looks directly out onto Loch Leosavay, with a westerly view towards the hills behind the opposite shore.
The clear water of the loch is a stone’s throw away, just beyond the low sea wall, with access to the rocky shoreline. Sleeps 6.
Leosavay Cottage
Just a few yards from the shore of Loch Leosavay, Leosavay Cottage enjoys a south-facing outlook across land and sea towards South Harris.
You’ll find the scenery, ever-changing skies and wildlife both bewitching and memorable. Slow down and take in the view from bench at the front facing the sea. Sleeps 4.
Jetty Cottage
Enjoying an outstanding position the Jetty Cottage is appropriately beside the stone jetty where local boats would unload their goods.
The cottage has a commanding southerly aspect, with captivating views across Loch Leosavay towards South Harris. Sleeps 4.
